The Think.Eat.Drink Membership Scheme was launched in October of last year, since when we have curated a fantastic supply chain of like minded companies, between them able to provide the majority of products and services required by operating food and drink businesses. All of our members are required to pass our online sustainability test, and are subsequently provided with a taylor made report provided by our own sustainability consultant. Through this process we are able to ensure that all of our members possess the same sustainability based values, goals and ethics as our own, and are provided with the advice, support and resources neccessary for continued improvement.
For us, this was a vital first step in ensuring the success of our membership scheme, as we knew that this would enable us to provide the operating members joining us further down the line, with a ready made supply chain that would allow them to instanty begin saving money, reducing waste and improving their sustainability policy and credentials, gaining them recognition among customers and community as a pioneer of the sustainable food and drink industry.
We have already welcomed a number of operating members on board and are ready for more. Due to feedback from our existing members we have now designed a brand new online test, specifically designed to enable operating food and drink companies to quickly and easily provide us with the information we need to help their company join the T.E.D members scheme, and subsequently to provide them with the information, contacts, resources, discounts, and advice that will allow them to transform their restaurant, cafe, bar, pub, club, hotel, deli, stall and more into a front runner of the sustainable catering industry, strengthening their brand, saving them money and steering our planet toward a safer, greener future.
