The series, beginning on March 26th 2015, aims to stimulate debate and constructive thinking around the issues that surround the world of food.
The first session in entitled “Sustainable food uncovered” and includes speakers, Professor Tim Benton (University of Leeds and UK Champion for Global Food Security) and Aniol Esteban (Head of Environmental Economics from the New Economics Foundation). The discussion will be chaired by Dan Crossley, Executive Director of the Food Ethics Council.
It will look at what is meant by ‘sustainable food’ and ‘a sustainable food system’ – and the challenges of making it a reality. We will then be supplying a delicious buffet alongside co-sponsor Organico.
