In 2007 the Hosnsey Town Hall Creative Trust, in partnership wth Harringay Council put into motion plans for the regeneration of Hornsey Town Hall. Their vision for the Grade II listed building, which stands in the heart of North London's crouch end, was to merge the traditional beauty of the Hall itself with the progressive ideals of modern London, stating that when finished it was to be:
"a world class model of civic renaissance, an arena for all that harnesses the spirit of progress, community, creativity and enterprise for future generations in Haringey, London and beyond"
In keeping with this ultimate goal, the organisers sought a catering solution which would at once provide outstanding style, modern menus and a strong focus on sustainability. With this in mind they enlisted the services of Think.Eat.Drink and Jamie Granger-Smith subsequently worked with them to design an overall business plan, and feaseability report for the Hall's in house restaurant.
